Lacoste Ku’damm

Kurfürstendamm is the main shopping street in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin . This 245 sqm retail store is located on the ground floor of a building built in 1963, and it is spread over two floors.

The ceiling of the first floor is an attention-grabbing feature. It is covered in a beautifully painted fresco, with classical intricate details reminiscent of the past. These classical details had fallen out over a period of years and the preservation and restoration of the fresco was one of the biggest challenges for the project. Hence, a part of the ceiling has exposed track lighting.
